Styles

What’s your favorite style! Yes, there is a style you love,  it maybe difficult to put into words at times, but you are drawn to something you and only you know you love.  A commitment to the style of photography you love is as important as the dress you’ll be wearing as you walk down the aisle.    At John Prado Photography our clients can pick from two really strong  styles which we call, True Photojournalistic Style and Contemporary Fashion Style.  Which one do you like best?  Follow me as I describe them below.

True Photojournalism Is all about the photographer presenting the story of your day through his eyes with images captured spontaneously,  they emphasize real moments and real emotions.  The images are captured completely unassisted and without any direction.  This style of photography is  great for those couples who are lively in their mannerism, who are very openly affectionate towards one another, or you may simply like this style for  the realness of the moments and the look of the style.  When the photos are presented to you, you will recognize a certain natural aspects of the images that speak lifestyle, movement, motion and very natural interactions. In the real world on your wedding day, the photographer is always position at a careful distance for consideration to allow moments to happen with the people around you and to capture the story of the places around you, all of this helps to establish the story of your day with a Photojournalism style of photography.

Contemporary Fashion Style Wedding Photography Is just as popular if not more popular with the type of clients that love our photography.  In this style, the photographer combines photojournalistic images of the events from throughout the day with images of the couple which are inspired by editorial fashion photography as would be found in magazines like Vogue and Vanity Fair.   You will see the photographer interact with the couple throughout the day with clear directions for scene selection, posing and interactions. This style of photography is great for the couple who right away may not be comfortable in front of the camera, who may need some type of direction or who is simply desiring a very chic, hip magazine look to her wedding images.
