Tell me about your albums, how are they processed?
We process our albums in 4 super duper easy steps:
1. (first) You pick photos for the album
2. (Second) We design the digital layout of the album, requires 3-4 weeks approximately
3. (Third) We submit a draft storyboard layout in PDF format for your approval.
4. (Fourth) You’ve approved the album, it’s time to hand the work to our wonderful partners, the album companies and we use the best of the best!
How do I Pick my Photos?
You pick them right through your private gallery, or on your own computer with the High Resolution DVD discs. Through the gallery you would simply pick “favorites” by clicking on the heart icon under each image. You can review what you’ve picked by clicking the “my account” link on the right side of the gallery towards the top. When you’re done picking simply email the studio to let us know you’re finished and we take it from there. To pick them through your computer simply write down the file numbers and submit to the studio via email, both ways work great for us to begin designing your beautiful one of kind master piece!!
How Many Photos do I pick:
We recommend staying within a set number of photos according to album size. Staying within these numbers will allow us to create a strong & dynamic design with a combination of large images, medium and small size images. If you can’t help but pick more photos that’s ok, it means we’ve done a fantastic job at your wedding, yes we take as a compliment. But you have nothing to worry about because we’ll take them anyway and we’ll do our best to accommodate YOU our super wonderful clients. If in the end we provide a product which is over the number of pages in your package, we’ll give you the options to take some out or consider adding some as optional.
Wedding Albums in sizes 10×10, 8×12 and 8×8 with 15pages/30sides, we recommend 70-80 photos, and for 20page/40sides we recommend 80-100 photos.
Wedding Albums in sizes 10×13, 12×12 and 11×14 with 15page/30sides, we recommend 85-95 photos, and for 20page/40sides we recommend 95-120 photos.
Engagement Session sign-in guest book album in size 10×10 with 15pages/30sides, we recommend 20-25 photos.
Cover Photo
Some of the albums we offer include a cover photo, such as our line of metallic cover albums and our acrylic cover albums. You’ll need to select one photo preferably in vertical form and one that is rich and vibrant in color as they print well with these covers. If you need any recommendations we would be happy to help you. You are also welcome to choose several photos and request our opinion over which may the strongest in things such as sharpness quality, color richness and so on.
