ABOUT YOU: How did you meet? Keith and I met at a wedding when I caught the bouquet and he caught the garter. It was a big wedding and that was the first moment we locked eyes.
How did he propose to you? Keith proposed to me on the Fourth of July while on vacation in Aruba. I didn’t believe him until he pulled out the ring.
BEST MOMENTS What was your favorite moment during your wedding day? My favorite moment was my walk down the isle with my dad. It was a long walk, almost 5 minutes, and during the walk my dad told me the sweetest things that I will cherish forever.
HONEYMOON AND LIFE What’s next on your calendar as a couple? We honeymooned in Kauai, Hawaii. We are enjoying newlywed life. We plan on starting a family sometime next year.
WEDDING THEMES
Why/how did you Falkner Winery to host your wedding? A few weeks after we got engaged we went to a wedding at the Falkner Winery in the garden area. We both love wine and we decided to check out the winery as a possible venue. When we saw the Pinnacle room for the first time we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding.
Theme or styles was? Our favorite color is green so we used green with brown accents. We went with a simple look.
What was your most memorable moment? My most memorable moment was my walk down the isle with my dad. We walked slowly down a long path. My dad told me such sweet things and I started to cry. Then he told me jokes to make me laugh. By the time I saw the guests I was calm and relaxed and in the moment. I locked eyes with Keith and noticed that he had been crying. My walk down the isle was truly magical.
What is your favorite-favorite single best photo? We have 2 favorite photos. We love photo number 472. We love the lighting and the connection John captured of Keith and I. I like the placement of my veil and flowers. It is an enchanting photo. Our other favorite photo was also taken in the vineyard. It is photo number 476. It also has great lighting as well. The way we are standing reminds me of a bride and groom cake topper.
John was very easy to work with. He was very accommodating. He took great photos. We love the natural style of John’s photography.
ADVICE (any word of advice to to future brides) Everyone told me your wedding day will fly by. A few people told me to take a moment to myself before walking down the isle. Take a breath, look at your guests, and enjoy all of your hard
