Shevonne and Justin are planning a destination wedding for next year and wanted some local engagement session photos done.  She described that she was looking for a place that had water in the photos but wasn’t thrilled about the beach. I recommended a few local parks with lakes I know which got her inspired and before long a friend had also recommended another lake which turned out to be Rancho Santa Margarita Lake. To make sure this is what she was looking for she and Justin toured the lake 1 weekend before the engagement session was to take place and they fell in love with it on so many levels.  Southern California is not known for pretty lakes but Rancho Santa Margarita Lake  is beautiful and very romantic. I recommended we start the session about an hour  and a half before sunset to take advantage of the Golden Light and she agreed.  Upon meeting them, they were both ready white shirts and all to have fun with each other in an intimate and romantic way.  We spent an hour walking the meandering paths and stopping along for some of the shots that she was looking for.  The end result was a set of photos which depict the love she and Justin have for one another.
