Every wedding I am privileged enough to be part of is gorgeously different and unique, and therefore my favorite, honestly. The wedding of Dan and Hailey is especially delightful, though, and I’m excited to share the details of this special day. Part of my heart wants to keep it a secret because this intimate Orange County wedding venue is just so special, but “sharing is caring” so I want to share it with you. Hailey and Dan got married at the Tea House Restaurant on Los Rios Street, a charming jewel set amid a tiara of storybook streets in the oldest neighborhood in the state of California. This dreamy little train-stop town is a picturesque backdrop for weddings, and I guarantee it will instantly carve out a place in your heart as one of the most special places you’ve ever visited.
A trip to Orange County California is like stepping back in time. The San Juan Capistrano Mission captures the feeling of a Spanish settlement, with terracotta roofs and wrought iron balconies creating a romantic atmosphere. Everywhere you look you will find houses that have been lovingly preserved with traditional building techniques. The charming streets are filled with local eateries offering traditional dishes like tacos and burritos, as well as modern restaurants serving Americanized Mexican food. The mission was the original city center, and everything built around it reflected the same architectural style. Eventually, this sweet neighborhood created the beginnings of what is now Orange County California.
