“From this day forward, you shall not walk alone, your heart shall be my shelter and my arms will be your home.” ~Author Unknown
The wedding of Mayra & Chris was a picture-perfect day. From the blue theme colors of the bridal party, to the heartfelt vows shared between them in front of over 100 guests at St Martin de Porres Catholic Church, to the laughter and joy that filled the air at the wedding reception held at Villa del Sol Fullerton. I was able to capture every moment of their wedding in a beautiful and artistic way.
I have photographed previous weddings and portrait sessions for this family. Every image I take reflects my familiarity with them as it has been a privilege to document all their wonderful life milestones. The ceremony at St Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Yorba Linda was truly a magical and memorable event. Set in this welcoming faith-filled community and surrounded by family and closest friends, the couple celebrated their love in the most beautiful way possible. The church was filled with emotion from the exchange of vows to the traditional processions and religious customs that took place. As they walked down the aisle hand-in-hand, it was obvious that their hearts were truly made happy at that very moment.
The reception afterwards at Villa Del Sol Fullerton was very lively and high spirited, perfect for the newlyweds to enjoy and celebrate one of life’s biggest milestones together. All in all, it was a spectacular occasion that will be treasured in memory by everyone present.
It is such an incredible feeling to be able to preserve memories and moments in photographs. Knowing that I had the opportunity to capture these special moments for my clients is extremely rewarding. I am certain each image will be remembered with much affection as they reflect on the moments full of laughter, positivity, and joy among all those people who mean so much to each other. This experience reminded me of why I enjoy being a photographer; not only do I get to express my creativity, but I also get to share in happy memories with others.
As someone who loves preserving memories, I am so glad that I am able to offer such a meaningful service. Congratulations to the happy couple!!
Funtimes with the bridesmaids
Photo below: I love this photo of the bride, it was made even more special by the simple yet breathtaking setting. A windows to her right and another to her left gave off the perfect soft-diffused light, highlighting her long wedding gown train and punctuated with a beautiful smile. Simple but beautiful!
Photo below: Here’s an intimate moment between mother and son. It was a moment that I will never forget, and a reminder of the importance of cherishing every second we have with our loved ones. No amount of words can truly describe it – here was a beautiful representation of the lasting bond between parent and child. A moment to be cherished forever. The ceremony was held at the St Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Yorba Linda. A beautiful and modern Catholic church.
So much love and warmth during the ceremony. Photos below: These minimalist inspired black & white photos are a great way to add a touch of art to any wall. Their classic, timeless look will still be in style years down the line.
