This is a love story that goes something like this. He was 5 years old and she was 2 and “we knew each other, we went to preschool together, we were in each other’s class and we even have a picture to prove it.” KIDDING RIGHT? Fast FORWARD 20 years later and BOOM, God brings them together! Wow! I would think this happens more often but is not always recorded. Israel is one of those naturally fun guy to be around, lots of jokes and pranks and things like that. Sophia is very soft spoken, the quiet type with girl next door looks, and together they make an AMAZING couple!! I’m ROOTING for you guys!! I met Israel through his parents who pastor a church in Orange County. I’m the photographer they had contracted to make some happy memories of their family. Turns out I did pretty good job and I’m friendly too and easy-going, ok just having a little fun here and so one day they called me to say they were looking for me to photograph Israel’s wedding. The whole family shares the funny gene, it’s all in the family, never a dull moment with them, I call them the FUN-FAM!! The wedding was a one stop celebration at the gorgeous Turnip Rose Promenade & Gardens in Costa Mesa. Turnip is such a classy venue and well known throughout Orange Count. If you’re going for outdoors with elegance, private and coziness, this is the place. My first time photographing here but I have photographed at their other location on Newport Blvd which is equally good! The couple chose an evening ceremony officiated by non-other than Israel’s dad, David. Champagne/gold and navy theme colors adorned the venue throughout as was the color for the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Dinner was served as guests enjoyed the Sax playing tunes. This is a couple who loves moving to the pulsing energy of our modern techno times, I love seeing all of my photos on their feed. Loved photographing this wedding!
